Biography:

James is a highly experience musculoskeletal physiotherapist. In addition to private clinical work he has worked throughout the UK, USA & Australia with professional athletes ranging from Premiership Rugby, American Football, Major League Baseball, Body Builders and Athletics. He completed his Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the internationally recognised Queensland University, and has also completed post graduate studies in applied biomechanics. He was the medical team leader for Gloucestershire County Cricket for two years, and is currently the Lead Clinical Physiotherapist for the English Institute of Sport and a Senior Physiotherapist for UK Athletics at the West London High Performance Centre.

Mark is an accomplished physiotherapist with a unique mix of research and clinical skills. He was awarded the post graduate scholarship at the Australian Institute of Sport in 2003, where he worked with several elite sports at the AIS headquarters. He is passionate about the need for research, and has had his own research published in the BJSM. He has worked as a consultant to Nike Athletics for two years, working with some of the world’s leading athletes on the World Athletics Tour. Mark currently works for the English Institute of Sport, and is a Senior Physiotherapist for UK Athletics at their North London High Performance Centre.
