Peter Malliaras PhD MCSP

Biography:

Peter is an experienced physiotherapist who has worked with elite athletes at the Victorian Institute of Sport (Australia) as well as National and International level football, volleyball and basketball players and Commonwealth and Olympic track and field athletes. Over almost the past decade, he has devoted his clinical and research time to the management of tendinopathy, completing his PhD in this area and working with the worlds leading tendon clinicians (Nicola Maffulli, Hakan Alfredson and Jill Cook). Much of his tendon-related research has been published in peer review journals, such as the British and Clinical Journals of Sports Medicine. Currently Peter divides his time between tendon research at Brunel University (West London), lecturing to both undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapists and consulting in private practice and for elite athletes
