Steven Young MCSP, MSc, DipMDT, SOM

Biography:

Steven Young graduated from the Leeds School of Physiotherapy in 1982, and currently works as a Consultant Physiotherapist (Spinal Services) at the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Royal Oldham Hospital.  Steven has worked extensively in the field of Spinal Disorders, first as an extended scope practitioner, and was appointed as one of the first Consultant Physiotherapists in 2003.  His research interests include self management strategies for spinal disorders and prevention strategies, (one paper awaiting publication, and two in the writing-up stage).  Steven has taught extensively in the UK and internationally over the past 12 years in the field of diagnosis and management of spinal disorders.
